Hundreds and thousands of volunteers come to the aid professional first responders and their fellow community members when disaster strikes Wisconsin. Voluntary organizations work to train, prepare, organize and dispatch these volunteers when the need arises. Bringing together volunteers and voluntary organizations together is one of the main functions of the WeVolunteer Initiative. WeVolunteer is a one stop shop for people to find information on which voluntary organizations are in their area and when training sessions are being held.
As successful volunteer organizations, you inspire us drive us to provide you with more and better resources. Now let WeVolunteer help you to do your jobs with more ease and efficiency than ever.
- See the bottom of the page for a list of all the organizations that are involved with WeVolunteer. Not on the list yet? Contact us and let us know you want to be a part of WeVolunteer!
- There are many government and non-government resources available to volunteer organizations. For information on governments grants, please see the website of the Office of Justice Assistance.
- Have a training event coming up? You can post your schedules on the WeVolunteer site so that volunteers from across the state can see what’s available to them and where they need to go to get themselves involved.
- Have something else to share? Training templates and best practices are always welcome additions to the site. Help others by allowing them to learn from your organization.
